Tomah Health is welcoming women of all ages to discover more about their own health during the 2025 Women’s Health Night scheduled April 24 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Cranberry Country Lodge Convention Center, 319 Wittig Rd., Tomah.
“It’s easy to miss some of the opportunities and resources that are in our community, so Women’s Health Night gathers various organizations that serve residents of Monroe County and lets people know things in our community that are resources to help women and their families,” Tomah Health Community Health educator Whitney Sanjari said of the event.
The health fair portion of the evening will run from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and provide complimentary blood pressure, depression, and anxiety screenings in addition to more than 25 vendors who will offer information on various health and wellness topics. “It’s a great place to not only get great information on health and wellness, but also to have fun doing it,” said Sanjari.
While the event is geared for women, Sanjari said men are also invited to attend. “I think it’s a great community event to learn about resources in the community and general health information and speak to health professionals.”
Scheduled interactive presentations include a ‘Make & Take Floral Design’ class with Linda Capaul of JJ’s Floral of Tomah at 4:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. and a soap making demonstration by B & T Farms of Tomah at 6:15 p.m.
Sanjari said there is no charge to attend the event, which will also include more than 30 door prizes, healthy appetizers, and refreshments. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening and attendees do not need to be present to win. “I think women in particular are very social, so this event is a way for us to connect and be social and have fun with our friends and you’ll see women of all ages there,” added Sanjari.
Tomah Health Community Outreach coordinates the Women’s Health Night during odd number years and a similar Men’s Health event during even numbered years.
