Professional Development Center

Caring for Our Community

The Tomah Health Professional Development Center is a 10,000 square-foot facility dedicated to enhancing the care provided at Tomah Health. The expansion, which opened in May 2026, addresses Tomah Health’s investment to the community through professional development and training for its employees.

The Professional Development Center consists of a conference center, an educational simulation lab, and additional office space for Tomah Health staff.

Felton Simulation Lab

The Felton Simulation Lab is a high-tech laboratory dedicated to hands-on clinical training and skills building for Tomah Health staff and providers. An IT lab will also provide computer medical record training and education.

Tomah Health is dedicated to expanding opportunities for their staff to develop, grow, learn, and advance their skills to provide the highest quality of care for the community.

Felton Conference Center

The Felton Conference Center is a space for Tomah Health to connect with the community by providing conference space to employees, providers, and key collaborators across the community and state of Wisconsin. It consists of the Cranberry Room and Harvest Room, which can be combined into a single room for large events.

Development of the new center would not have been possible without the generous support of John and Velda Felton of Warrens. The couple donated a total of $2.2 million through the Felton Trust—half of which was dedicated to Tomah Health Hospice Touch and Palliative Care, and the other half funded the Professional Development Center. The Conference Center is named in their honor.
