Grief Group – Offering Support

Hospice Touch would like to offer you the opportunity to attend a six-week support group. This support group is designed to help individuals who have lost a loved one explore their grief in a caring and supportive setting.

Participants will receive valuable information each week to help them cope with grief and have time to share and hear from others, build connections, and ask questions. Our topics include, but are not limited to, defining grief, the needs of grief, taking care of yourself, and normal reactions to grief.

Many past participants in our grief groups have expressed relief when they could connect with others who understood what they were experiencing. This experience gave them support and helped them realize that, although their grief was unique, they were not alone.

Tomah Health Hospice Touch has scheduled a six-week group grief support and education series each Wednesday and Thursday from the week of September 23 to October 29.

Wednesday sessions will be held from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., while Thursday sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.

All sessions will be held at the Hospice / Palliative Care offices at 601 Straw St. in Tomah.

Participants can choose from either the Wednesday or Thursday sessions. There is no charge for the program; however, registration is required by calling Hospice Touch at (608)374-0250 in Tomah by September 14.
