Tomah Health was one of 386 hospitals nationwide and among 28 in Wisconsin named to the list by Becker’s Hospital Review, an industry leading print publication. Becker’s compiled the list of U.S. hospitals with a CMS 5-star rating for cleanliness.
CMS’ patient survey hospital database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys. HCAHPS is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay.
The surveys were completed between Oct. 1, 2023, and Sept. 30, 2024. The data was most recently updated Aug. 6.
It’s the second consecutive year Tomah Health has been recognized for cleanliness.
