Tomah Health Hospice Touch has been named a 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Award recipient. It’s the eighth consecutive year the organization has picked up the recognition.
“This award shows the dedication by our staff in providing the highest quality care for our Hospice patients,” said Hospice Touch and Palliative Care director Siera Williams. “It’s great recognition for the work our staff is doing.”
Award criteria were based on Hospice CAHPS survey results for an evaluation period of January 2024 through December 2024. To qualify, a hospice agency must be working with MatrixCare for Hospice CAHPS survey administration and have scored above the MatrixCare National Score for the Willingness to Recommend question, and have had at least one complete survey returned in each of the four quarters of the evaluation period. MatrixCare identified award recipients by evaluating performance on a set of twenty-four quality indicator measures.
Officials said the prestigious annual review recognizes agencies that continuously go above and beyond in providing high-quality care for patients and compassionate caregiver experiences while acknowledging the highest performing agencies by analyzing the performance of the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey satisfaction and quality measures.
“I’m very proud of our staff,” added Williams. “We continue to set the standard of excellence for Hospice care, throughout five-county area.”
Hospice Touch and Palliative Care provides services through its office at 601 Straw Street in Tomah and serves a 27-mile radius of the Tomah area.
