Tomah Health Rehabilitation Services Director Tim Kortbein and Rehab Coordinator Emily Wall report that rehab patients at Tomah Health continue to have great outcomes and in a short amount of time compared to patients in facilities throughout the world.
The latest data from Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO) for the last 12 months ending July 1, shows we rank in the top 10% internationally for wrist / hand cases and elbow cases …in the top 15% internationally for shoulder cases and the top 22% internationally for foot / ankle cases.
In addition, Neurological patient outcomes are in the top 19% internationally… Women’s Health/Urinary Incontinence patient outcomes are in the top 20%, and Vertigo patient outcomes are in the top 25%.
It should be noted that all these patient visits were BELOW the actual provider visits compared to predicted visits for rehab services.
