There are so many different salad greens that are available. A good mixed salad will contain a variety of greens that have bitter and sweet flavors. Greens as a whole are generally a good source of vitamin A, vitamin K and potassium. Other than iceberg lettuce, most also contain respectable amounts of vitamin C, iron and calcium.
