Tomah Health and Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin officials are asking area residents to help meet a continued need for blood by donating Sept. 17 or 18 in Tomah.
“Blood drives play a vital role in ensuring that hospitals and patients have the lifesaving blood they need every day. Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is proud to partner with Tomah Health to strengthen the local blood supply and make a direct impact on the lives of patients and families across Wisconsin,” said Versiti Blood Center account representative Garron Bowers.
Versiti Blood Center is the sole blood supplier to over 60 hospital systems in Wisconsin including Tomah Health. “Every donation collected at these drives will help trauma victims, cancer patients, and countless others whose lives depend on the generosity of blood donors,” added Bowers.
To help meet the need, Tomah Health and Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin are holding a two-day blood drive Sept. 17 & 18 from noon – 5 p.m. at Tomah’s Recreation Park, 1625 Butts Ave., Tomah.
