    When Marcy’s surgical wound got infected, Tomah Health’s Wound Care team knew exactly what to do. The expert team of providers and nurses provided treatments that enabled Marcy’s wound to heal from the inside out. According to Marcy, the best part about her treatments were the people that cared for her. They became quick friends, and even exchanged some recipes.

    After Tom’s wife Lynn was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, they knew that Tomah Health’s Serenity House would be the best place for her. Serenity House is an 8-bed Hospice residence that provides 24/7 care that includes medication management, meals, and spiritual/chaplain services. Thanks to the care team at Serenity House, Lynn received compassionate and expert care for five weeks.

    A Sleep Services Patient Now Sleeps Through the Night

    When Alan’s wife told him that he stopped breathing at night as they slept, he knew he had to check it out. Tomah Health referred him to a sleep study, where they determined he needed a CPAP machine. CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure and is a treatment for sleep apnea. Tomah Health Sleep Services help to diagnose and treat various sleep ailments, such as sleep apnea, as well as narcolepsy, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome. “I’m up and ready to go when my alarm goes off,” Alan says. “Or now I beat the alarm up.”

    A Pediatric Sleep Services Patient Improves Her Grades

    Haley had a hard time focusing at school and could fall asleep anywhere, including class! Thanks to Tomah Health’s Pediatric Sleep Services, Haley learned that she had sleep apnea, which helped her learn how to get a restful night’s sleep.
