Men are far less likely than women to visit a doctor and far more likely to have a serious condition when they do go in. Another important preventative measure that you can take is exercising regularly. Whether it’s pumping iron at the gym or kicking a ball around with your kid, a mere thirty minutes of daily exercise can reduce your health risks exponentially and help you look and feel like a million bucks.

Furthermore, secondhand smoke can hurt the people you care about by exposing them to the same dangerous chemicals you’re inhaling. Quitting isn’t easy, but the years of good health you’ll add to your lifespan by doing so are priceless.

Last but not least, a well-balanced diet is essential for good health. Incorporating more fruits, veggies, lean meats, and whole grains into your daily routine will do wonders for your waistline and greatly reduce your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, and other health problems.

Most of the major health risks that men face are easily preventable through healthy lifestyle choices and regular checkups. Although you may not have any major health concerns now, taking good care of your body will pay off greatly in years to come!
